(Vagor has gone crazy. Shijie has always been crazy. This shouldn't be making me laugh but it is, so here we are.)

Yokai blinked, glancing around the cell. "The one-eye." His gaze met Shijie. Yokai, although not much larger than Thar, was substantially taller than the guardian, making him quite easy to see, even with her wings spread out. This meant that, unfortunately, when the aforementioned wildclaw shook herself out of her trance and turned to look at what Vagor was doing, grey flecks of mana from the spirit world in her eye, she saw the ridgeback.

She raised her upepr half as much as she could with the mess that was her leg, head up, and growled at Yokai, teeth flashing. The ridgeback looked at her with an interest, although not the kind one would usually have when meeting another dragon. The wildclaw kept the low growl up for quite a while, with a gentle hand reaching to guide Stormwynd behind her and out of sight.

"Relax. It'll all be fine," she whispered, just barely audible, to the fae, locking her gaze onto Yokai. The ridgeback gave her the hint of a smile before softly tapping his bag. A soft jingle could be heard, like rocks clinking against each other. Shijie flinched, but held his gaze. The two stared at each other, silent, one face full of fear, desperation, and aggression, and the other calm, composed, and completely sterile of emotion.

"My name?" The voice paused for a moment, thinking. One of the daggers disappeared, then the other. A crossbow, loaded with simple bolts that had not come from it, appeared on the floor where they had been. "You may call me Wasim. For the purposes of my mission, I find it inconvenient to disclose to you my real name, Huntress. As for information..."

"GrimGrove prison, run by a bogsneak of the same name, is the title of our location. I have managed to get my hands on a contact who escribes the warden to me as rather cold, not particularly likable, and appearing to display rather possessive characteristics when dealing with the occupants of this location. I, here, hope to obtain a few documents from him, although the accomplishments that may occur here are dependent on multiple variable factors and has a low probability of success exactly as I have planned out." The stranger paused again, clearly considering his next words.

"However, there are some alternate routes that have the potential to lead us to the same end result, and so long as as few individuals as possible are harmed and as much information as possible is obtained, it would not bother me too much if some of the cogs happened to shift in this machine. I have already infiltrated the current location once under disguise, and my analysis shows that despite the unusual features my disguise displayed, the warden did not appear to find it important to collect me."

"This has led me to believe that he only targets those who are, in the eyes of most of our society, expendable or undesirable. tell me this, Huntress. Are you an individual many would consider the... unsavory kind? If is so, be aware of the fact that I will not find myself particularly disturbed. Perfection and a desirable end result require for me to cooperate with as many individuals as is possible without suffering from any of the negative effects of doing so."

(Wasim has done the research. He has done the math. He will definitely not succeed as he planned, if at all, but hey, that's part of the fun, right?)
(True to my word, this is indeed somebody who has been present before. There is one shapeshifter among you, and it's not who you think it is.)

Moon smiled.
"Well, Wasim, you've certainly done your homework. You're right about me being unsavory. I'm an assasin, and a good one. I usually leave stealing to some... associates of mine, who are significantly better at it, but I can be of use in this situation as well."
She bent down and picked up her crossbow carefully, not taking her eyes off of the invisible dragon.

Stormwynd started a little as Shijie scooted him behind her, but he trusted her.
"Okay..." he muttered, under his breath.
"Let's see how this plays out."

"Som'ething beautiful?" Irrus ran his claws gently over his scales, taking a little time to respond as he though over the words "Hmm... Not the words I'd use to describe what happened to some of those travellers. But hey, it's in the eye of the beholder." He followed her gaze, looking amused.
Skade looked Maelona sceptically "A new soul?" He stretched out his front legs "Great. Just perfect. It's not like we're understaffed or anything."
@ChaoticFriendzy

"My people? There are none" Ukryty paused her chewing with an expression of pure confusion "And Echo is here. There is nothing" Her gaze wandered over the skydancer "And you, and you. Seeking, searching, found? New footsteps on an old path-" A gasp, then she turned to point, perhaps a bit too dramatically, at the dragons in the doorway "YOU"
With a great sigh, Skel made herself as small as possible, resigned to just watching the chaos unfold and patching up everyone who was left.

Sadness clouded Never Known's expression "Oh..." He shrank back into himself "...I... thought I...."

GG shook his head to clear the words projected there. Not the first time he'd been threatened with his own demise and it certainly wouldn't be the last. Taking advantage of Arbor's confusion, he unleased a bright bolt towards her eyes. Meanwhile, Coal Mane readied herself to respond when the aberration retaliated.
@Heyone

The pearlcatcher mock lunged at Thar, barely making her flinch. Threat! Defend! He reared to lunge again, but noticed Yokai standing behind. THREAT. With a quiet whimper, he dropped to the ground and crouched. A voice from behind made him spin to face the new threat. A pale skydancer. The pearlcatcher snapped at the air in a warning to get no closer. @MrFruit
(The conversation just before this gives context to what's going on here, but I see how this makes Vagor seem crazy.)

Thar followed the ridgebacks gaze "Her?" Her expression bordered on something akin to disgust "Looks like someone's done half of your job for you"
(Thar continues to be a judgmental so and so. Isn't she just wonderful?)

(A shapeshifter? I love shapeshifters! In fact, two of my current dergs are shifters, although one of them is far more sneaky than the other)

The bolt hit arbor's eyes. Shrieking over the temporary blindness she shot a wild blast of force in the general direction of coalmane. She begins to stumble around in confusion.

they whisper words of gold, but your last breath is in a bottle on their shelf
SkullFlight pulled himself together, noticing he might have overreacted to the fae. Afterall, one may be subjected to feeling a bit hangry after a couple years. "Well, I think I have a little bit of right to be angry when you've just kept me from my meal. How would you feel if I did the same to you?" he responded, with more manners than his previous growl-y response. (@Dragonryder999)
"And you, little pearlcatcher," his eyes narrowed on Vagor, a questioning gaze, "You seem a bit... crazed. Do you think it's safe to eat you, if you don't mind me asking?" When Vagor barred his teeth at SkullFlight, he shifted into an almost-crouch, showing that he was ready to fight it out if that's what the other wanted. (@Darkshine)

Stormwynd couldn't answer Skullflight, being occupied with the situation at the door. However, he did mutter something akin to "Dragons aren't food."

Cypher didn't know how to react to Never Known, but he wanted to say something to try and cheer him up.
"Now that you're thinking more clearly, do you have any idea what it was that you came here for?"
