I'm not sure I understand most of these reasons, lol. You can exalt dragons you don't want around, and the list of offspring for a parent is just a list?
But anyway, I would totally support people placing whatever limits on their own activities they want ... except there'd have to be a way to guarantee someone doesn't apply it to a nest being rented. I'm not sure there's a way to do that and a visual indicator isn't sufficient. It doesn't actually stop someone from doing it, and also you shouldn't have to watch over someone's shoulder to verify every single day up to the moment of hatching that they didn't limit your nest. You should be able to go live your life.
Unless there's a built-in nest-renting function within FR that doesn't solely rely on player goodwill, something like this will make things more complicated, especially if it's free. Only if it costs enough to be a barrier against use in nest-renting would you get enough confidence that someone wouldn't use it.
