Y'ALL I'M SO EXCITED-- As of a few minutes ago, my very first breeding project has officially concluded! When I returned to FR a few months ago and started playing with the scry machine... and a thought took hold... I could have a dragon that looks like an Arizona green tea can. ...maybe even two of them as a matching pair! Because it's fun to breed designer dragons. I lucked out and was able to scoop up one half with the right colors from exalt row... but the tricky part arose when it turned out that literally every active female dragon with the color combo I wanted turned out to be too closely related to him! So with a few more fodder rescues, I was able to get two pairs of dragons that would have a shot at breeding the exact combo I was looking for. I feel so lucky that it literally only took three nests! I tend to have terrible luck with RNGs (as my history with gacha games will corroborate) so I'm so pleased that it only took a short while, as I tend to be terribly impatient lmao. Behold, my minty cherry blossom baby! I picked Icing for her secondary to tie in with the lovely borders found on one of the bottle designs ^^ The only part I'm stuck on is what to name her... Some ideas I am toying with are Aria (like Arizona), Camellia (family that tea comes from), and Aralia (from Araliaceae, family that ginseng comes from). I'm [s]high-key[/s] indecisive, so I would love some input--and if you have other suggests please share haha :'D In the meantime, I would love to see your breeding project successes! Please share them here too [emoji=familiar heart size=1] (p.s. if you'd like to be notified of green tea hatchlings I have a pinglist ok bye) [pinglist=46106]

Oh my gosh, I love her! What a neat idea. I don't do breeding projects because I don't have the patience lol but yours definitely paid off! I love the name Aralia.

@UmbvixNymph TYSM! Patience is not one of my virtues eithers, but I had a ~vision~ and a lot of free time on my hands at the moment so ultimately I decided "eh why not." But really, there's millions of dragons out there... most of the time I'm able to find what I'm looking for without having to do it myself LOL

@littlefoxninja thank you! :'D

what a cutie! i also have an Arizona dragon but i got him before aethers & icing/candy existed, and they work so well on your girl! i love her more-muted color palette also, it looks so nice. Aw, so cute, and what a creative idea! I like the name Aralia, thought she does look like she could be a Camellia, especially with her flowers. Happy for your success! I've had some successful ones of my own, so I'll share. Though some of my 'projects' were just breeding pairs for a family line (Gaolers), seeing how many colors I could get from a semi-limited pallet (Phthia), or just the babies of fandragons I married together. So here are the specific color successes! First success of my lair. Second one. My Kaecilius fandragon from Doctor Strange. He took me eight months, many gems and a probably over 100,000 treasure buying dragons and genes (and a breed change mistake), and I finally hatched him on Jan 31st. I love him so much, even though he needs a gene and his wife finished. And third success hatched on Feb 11th [s]okay I threw the towel in when he first hatched but he grew up, a friend loved him, and now he's a success.[/s] He might need a gene. Sixth Stephen Strange fandragon, first one I bred for Stephen Strange, and he even has siblings who were bonuses rather than successes since they weren't what I was going for.
