Hi! I've really been enjoying your sheet so far, I think it's so cool! (And I have no idea how to go about coding a google sheet...)
I am having the same problem it seems other users have been having... when I go into Verdict, all of the pairs have errors that say, "Did not find value 'Male' in MATCH evaluation" and I'm not sure what to do. I've tried refreshing, but that didn't seem to help. Would you know a fix?
Thanks so much, and I really appreciate all of the work you've done!

@JustBlackTea do all the dragons have a project number?
(And thank you!)

UhOhItsDorian, Uh yes. *Facepalms* You're right... I didn't even notice that little box there. Thanks so much for the help!
I do still have an error in the verdict section for the rows with one female? It says "Unknown range name, 'CUD'", and I tried re-entering the info. Still there... It's showing up in the column Total/7 and the fourth breed/gene column. It's not super important to me, so no worries if you don't know the fix, but I thought I'd ask. I might try entering the info again.

@JustBlackTea you’re not the first to have this issue, and I think it’s a Google sheets bug. Which is very annoying, but does mean I’ve already solved it.
In the formulas in the troublesome column (so the breed/gene drawback one), replace every instance of
CUD
(NOT CUDprob, that’s different) with
Lookup!$BW$3:$BW$27
You can just do it in the first row and copy those cells down the rest. Let me know if that helps!
(Explanation: Google sheets just isn’t for some reason recognising the named range, despite having no issue doing it with the same range in other columns, so you just have to give the direct location of the exact same bunch of cells. CUD stands for Corresponding Unique Digit.)

This is so incredibly cool! It's gonna save me a *lot* of headache (I... have too many breeding projects going on at once)
Is there a pinglist to be alerted for future updates?

@clockworkworm there isn't currently, I'm not sure how they work! I'm sure I could set one up though!
I'm so glad you're enjoying it :D though watch out, the lair capacity can get nightmarish with multiple projects... (send help /silly)

@UhOhItsDorian, So sorry about the late response! I'm still having issues, as I don't see any occurrences of CUD in the formulas? I'm not incredibly familiar with sheets, so it could be that I'm missing something, but here's a screenshot of the formula I'm looking at.

Let me know if that helps you see what my issue is?
Thanks so much!

Hello! I really love this sheet but I am having an issue where there entirety of the verdict sheet is returning errors ^^'
I am getting a match error that I'm having trouble figuring out the fix for myself; this is a gorgeous and very elaborate spreadsheet and far more complex than I tend to do (honestly beautiful job /gen) and I was wondering if you had a fix for this?

I've tried refreshing and I can't find any errors in the sheet that would be causing this :(
Thank you!

this spreadsheet is a life saver thank you!!!
also i noticed that Loam appears to be missing as a gene option? Soil seems to also be missing when i checked
i'm planning on ignoring loam for the actual breeding portion of my project and to just apply the gene to whatever dragon i end up with who has the right colours i'm going for, so i can just set the target gene to basic or something for now on the spreadsheet but yeah
(which also! speaking of. i don't 100% understand how spreadsheets work but looking at the C/D/E columns in the verdict sheet work to show the odds of breeding a target dragon, i see they mention the F/G/H/I columns which have the breed and gene chances.
is there any way to view the chances of generating the target dragon of a project, but ONLY based off of the combined chances of the target colours, without also factoring in the chances of the target breed/genes?)
