Anyone here still play Wuwa?
I'm enjoying the 2.0 update so much right now! Rinascita is absolutely gorgeous <3 The new features are also amazing, I really enjoy being able to fly everywhere. Exploration in the new region is a breeze!
(It's crazy how nice this game looks, even on lowest graphics)
The main story was pretty good! I loved seeing everyone work together at the climax, not to mention the main villain's writing was top tier and the boss fight was pretty intense! My favourite arc would still be the 1.3 and 1.4 Black Shores quests, but Wuwa's stories, writing and pacing have definitely improved a lot from the start.
The new outfit for Jinhsi is absolutely stunning. I got it in a heartbeat since she's my main, strongest damage dealer and favourite huanglong character, plus I'm a sucker for pinks and florals <3 The visual effects are really pretty too, with the pink auras, fireworks and lanterns. The fact that buying the skin also gives you a free sigil and signature weapon reskin was very nice of Kuro! You don't see that in many gachas. Not to mention the song they made to promote the outfit is beautiful. Worth every penny if i'd say so myself ^^
Overall, i just love how much Wuthering Waves has grown. Launch was very rough with many players being unsatisfied with the game's story, characters or overall aesthetic and many people stopped playing during the early patches. But half a year into the future, and the game has improved by so much! I initially only started this game due to FOMO and I planned to stop playing after a bit, but I'm really glad that I decided to stick with it until the end.
This is only the 6 months into the game, I can't wait to see what Kuro has planned for the first anniversary!

I have been playing Wuthering Waves since launch date. Although it is a good game overall. Didn’t think I would be hooked into another gacha. But is great on graphics, character development, storyline wise.
The first character I had ever gotten is Jiyan. Although I main him a lot throughout the storyline and open world.
Although I have my eyes set on Brant. Since he is from this update of 2.1, he is supposed to be coming into gacha + hopefully I’ll snag him. Since I am guaranteed.
Might make fandragons of Jiyan and Brant while I’m at it.

i returned to wuwa after sporadically playing it from 1.0 - 1.1. i agree that launch was very rough. i actually disliked it back then; 1.0 story was bland, and the performance issues really sucked the enjoyment out of me.
i had even sworn off playing gacha altogether at the crack of new year, but when i saw the teasers for rinascita, i got hooked again! now, i'm so happy wuwa actually delivered in 2.0. the main story hit all the beats right, the setting is amazing, and the new characters are so fun to use! i actually dropped money to get jinhsi's outfit, and then some more to nab carlotta, zhezhi, and roccia. :D the only thing i didn't get this patch was zhezhi's weapon, so good track record so far all in all.
2.1 is shaping up to be just as hyped too. maybe it's a bit of a filler patch in terms of main story, but i think we need the slower pace from all the lore dropped in 2.0. a calm before the storm, as they'd say. phoebe is so cute and inspired! fingers crossed that i win the 50/50 and/or i get her early, in any order, so i can pull for brant and changli's sword.
main: rover. finally, a main character that actually lives up to their hype in the lore! my havoc rover's echoes are butchered rn, but i have a pretty good set for spectro rover. his liberation hits like a truck. really love to see it.
fave: carlotta. she is wife. she is so fun to use, and her involvement in the main quest + companion quest just makes her so endearing. i hope we get to see her again at the finale of the story tbh. ;w;
