I was so excited when I saw I got you, and was even more so when I woke up this morning and saw you had gotten me too!!! Thank you so much for the truly epic art of Myca, I am just drooling over all the little details you added that tie in story elements, like the skull and the tower and the compact mirror in Capriccio's hand and THE EYES AND FEATHERS FROM KLASSIA IN THE BACKGROUND and the inclusion of Capriccio and Shui... I could go on, I can't stop staring at it. It's so beautiful it makes me want to cry.

hope its not weird to comment since i wasn't a participant, honestly i fought with myself about wanting to join but ultimately decided against for mostly personal reasons. its really great to see an event like this with no skill floor so that anyone can participate, its nice as someone who has a passion for art but will never have the technical skills to be on par with even the most rudimentary artist with a tablet. its fun to see the variety in characters and art styles, and eversnow is cracked for drawing for every participant every year. hope you guys all have a good [whatever you celebrate].

And yep this is all drawn traditionally (my flavor is alcohol markers, I probably didn't lose braincells :D). I have the contrast bumped up on my scanner to match the colors as best as I'm able.

@bulrush I don't think it's weird at all to comment without participating! But it's really cool to know there are some lurkers who enjoy it despite not giving/receiving art. Also yes, I'm really glad it's open to less skilled people. They all deserve to have fun with us, too. (Also, if you struggle with technical skill, you can always try pixel art! Very cool and doesn't take nearly so much training of muscles and things.)

Now for the rest: @Bananyan thank you drawing Zel! I really like how you did the skirt, and the flow of everything, and you captured her energy perfectly.

And of course, thank you to @Eversnow for being an art gremlin and drawing Pato! Precious little baby. I really ought to draw her sometime, too. You made her look really cute, and now she can finally have a second piece of art.

@Orgetzu i did actually get into pixel art shortly before i stopped drawing digitally with any regularity, it was pretty fun but also i was super rigid with my lines so everyone just looked stick straight lol. i realize my comment came out a little too harsh on myself, i was trying to get across that its nice to participate with skilled artists on even footing since i know a lot of people can be super picky with things like art trades (i wasn't publicly posting my art for long but i never had anyone bite).
