I needed a yellow dragon born on a specific day and there weren't many options. So I was sort of forced to pick him up. Being a breeder having dragons without primary or secondary genes was just unheard of in my lair, and I was always kind of amazed at people who had ungened dragon permas because it felt like a waste. But after I dressed him up to try and hide that for a while because I had breeding projects I was focusing my resources on at the time, it kind of clicked for me why people do this. There are just dragons out there where it would be a disservice to disrupt them with a pattern :)

I also found a whole [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3190528/1#post_3190528]subspecies[/url] that sold me on Oilslick, which is a colour I used to really dislike. I have so many now it's actually my second biggest colour collection [emoji=coatl tongue size=1]. The dragon who started it though doesn't even fit the requirements so I created two more yellow ones to avoid converting her Fade/Blend. Because how could you overwrite this!? I love her so much :D

Abberations. When they came out people were pretty much only scrying really spooky ones. I started a thread in dragon share after a while asking if there was such thing as one that wasn't all gore and ick, and someone came to me with this scry. Fell in love with it immediately. Of course new gene expansions have made them more dynamic now but finding any that weren't bloodbags felt impossible at launch. A lot of people pulled together to make this dragon happen [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

I typically detest the Filigree gene. These twins are the only dragons in my lair who have it that will be keeping it/aren't projects in progress and that likely will not change, but on these two and with their accents it somehow fits perfectly.

I simply can not STAND crystal or facet. I think they're so bad.

But she makes it work, simply because Spirals tend to have less real estate on their sprites dedicated to Wings so Facet is a lot less garish- looking on her, and instead it's more complimentary to her Glimmer :)
