Since this is the 3rd Ancient in a row (excluding Sandsurges) that we get clanbound eggs for, does that mean there's no more clanbound scrolls planned? I'd looove if that's the case, but just curious in general!

I hatched these babies:
Damn, they have some pretty neat new Tertiary genes but unfortunately I don't think I can get myself to even backlog a project for one. They sort of just feel like a subspecies of Snappers rather than a unique, Ancient breed. Some plate-like armour along their head and sides like they got going on with their tail would've made them feel less detail sandpapered.
Was also hopin' we'd get something along the lines of an isopod like others talked about, but hey, at least they got Mandibles!
Edit: they deserved Frills. Frills would've made me love them 100000% times more.

These breed really needed more of the horn-related genes (gnarl, branches, etc), because its head looks soo wrong with nothing on it.

I love them!! It's rare that I see an ancient and immediately think 'yep, these are friends', usually it takes me a bit to scry and get used to them. But these are immediately friend. :D Loooove the cool unique genes they got, can't wait to play around with them!! I'm so happy that such a cute ancient is Earth :D
