The elder had his claws full in trying to keep the two children at bay from exploring at night. Cunningly, he got the youths dared each-other to tell the scariest stories. The youngest spun a story of hungry kitsune that snatch hatchlings right from dragons’ dens at the dead of night. The older retold a tall tale a friend told them about the Sinister Slashers, a gang of dragons who pry on fledgling clans to take all their wealth at the brink of moonlight. Yet when it was the father’s turn, he chose to tell a story of so-called truth; about the native force that wonders their home for generations.[/i] ‘The Jabbersqually… Twas bryllyg, and ye slythy toves. Did gyre and gymble in ye wabe: all mimsy were ye borogoves; and ye mome raths outgrabe. This privation was made after the first and last war that took place upon our Zephyr Steppes - back when Windsinger’s Ancients still flew among us. All anyone knows is that one day she started gathering together all the fluffiest items around the lair, trying them on as various disguises, and testing to see how long it took for the harpies to notice. Her little scaly claws helps fool them for a while. Who knows, perhaps today is the day that she gets away with it.

Hes one of the first dragons i ever bought to keep because hes from an autumn themed pair. Hes friends with the pirates of my lair and enjoys their shipments of gems and jewels that they bring in. during the rest of the year, he spends his time in the caves of my lair, waiting for the seasons to change. as soon as the first leaf falls, he is right out into the forest to enjoy the beauty of the tangled wood...

For the masquerade I wanted to present them in a different light, literally. I went for much lighter colors and liked the look of the feathers, I tried to keep the color range close and not to cluttered, this is why I decided to not include winter wind, as it made the outfit less readable. I of course kept the ebony antlers, i see them as less of a decoration and more of a part of lyi, it looked strange if they were without them. Overall I'm quite happy with how it turned out! [i] Of course lyi would never dare wear this, it'd be like putting a outfit on a cat.[/i]
