Her laughter is the soft swirl of sea foam on the sand. Her sorrow a crushing wave. Rage takes the form of a swirling storm, daring you to be brave. A risk all take to cross her wake this mother, enemy, and friend. For every ship that ever sails can lose it all within her swells.

Did you see it? Down below in the dark. There it is again a small spark in the depths. Strange its almost hypnotic how it sways and dances in the waves. You lean closer eyes glazing over as you strain to see it clearer. Its almost like its....attached to something...something. With a gasp you pull back, but it is to late, the arms grab you and drag you down into the inky depths as the air leaves your lungs. Fathom after fathom passes as you are pulled deeper. As you lose consciousness you see its sickly grin illuminated by the alluring light that doomed you. A beast one could never have fathomed from their own nightmares claiming another prize.

Hatched during the Wavecrest Saturnalia, this Skydancer is as agile and graceful in the waters as she is the air. A flying fish of a dragon, she is able to plumb the depths of the Leviathan trench. Making her dives by leaping off the cliffs of the Reedcleft Ascent, she is able to reach the bottom of the sea in short time. Bringing back with her seafood and treasures that otherwise can't be reached by those in her clan.

Amat
The biggest and oldest of the deep dwelling Ridgebacks. Amat is a behemoth of a dragon who lives in a cavern in the most far reaching depths of the lair. Having carved out a huge chamber that is only accessible by diving to the bottom of the abyss and navigating the twisting tunnels. There is complete darkness here, though the large air pocket in the cavern allows her and the younger ridgebacks to dwell in a dry environment.
Despite being female, she has grown a long pointed snout which adds to her menacing appearance. She is a legend among those in her clan, and a myth to the outside world. Having defied the disdain for water that is common among her breed and leading others that are like her. She is the queen of the clan's deepest dwellers.
