Contour is a really make or break gene, it's great for accent colors that blend into the rest of the dragon or particularly good color contrasts. It's personally one of my favorite genes but I admit that it's very situational.

Took me a bit to find something I liked, and it's definitely more situational, but I love the look of speckle for "older" dragons. There's something that's so grounding about it that just makes me think of age :p

Make me like paint and/or piebald! it always feels too harsh to me, even on dergs that make logical sense, like koi dergs ^^;
