Simply posting some lore as I develop concepts for my clan and keep it all in one place. Feel free to disregard this, or you can interact, share your ideas, or whatever you want. (Please just keep it gentle and constructive)

Though many individuals come and go, there is a small population that remains constant within this clan. Of this, there is a division of dragons regarded very highly, specifically as a result of their genetics. The clan as a whole is largely invested in aesthetics due to the belief that the more attractive a dragon is, the closer to their diety they are. Due to cultural pressures, as well as a notable romantic connection between each of the Breeding Pairs, they frequently court one another and loyally defend one another. As a result of the clan's high opinion of these dragons, they are often treated as some sort of nobility, though of a different variety from dragons involved in leadership and medicine.

Generally a relaxed, though occasionally pretentious group, the Breeding Pairs spend much of their days tending to their offspring until they are old enough to venture out on their own. Otherwise, they wander around, offering assistance to others in their daily tasks, interact in small groups, or lounge on ruins in spots of watery sunlight.

There is rarely strife within this group, largely owing to a generally relaxed demeanor. If there is, it is petty disagreements, generally owing to excessive pride or boasting.

The leadership roles of the Tyros Clan are fulfilled by numerous dragons at any one point. Rather than having one leader wielding massive power, the Tyros Clan has, over many generations, formed a leadership council.

Within the council there are numerous roles, each with powers over certain issues, as well as each other. A complex system exists to ensure that no one group gains too much leverage in order to prevent an imbalance in power

Each group is responsible for a facet of life in the clan.

A small group of dragons is responsible for ensuring every dragon in the clan receives enough food of the correct variety. This group is generally under appreciated, but they work tirelessly nonetheless.

In times of hardship, these dragons work to ensure that everyone still gets food while stretching the available supplies to last as long as possible.

Not to be confused with the small teams of dragons who voyage out to collect resources or battle for loot, these dragons uphold the perimeter of the Clan's territory. Generally, they strive to do so though peaceful measures, but this can't always be the case. The members of this group are not all considered members of the council- only a few of the higher-ups are. Due to the variance in who is of the highest rank (as determined by those of the figurehead group, interpersonal relations, and more), there are generally different dragons present at each meeting.

As is the case in most societies, there is occasional conflict within the Tyros dragons. This group is particularly small and important. They are reared from birth to hold themselves and each other to a very high moral standard. Many times, the dragons in the group are adopted into the circle shortly after their birth, offered to the senior members of the group by their parents, knowing that this group is well respected and entirely composed of permanent members of the Tyros clan.

When there is a dispute, the group will listen to the events that caused it, and work to peacefully come to a resolution.

Despite their jarring name, the ravagers are generally very peaceful, only dueling when necessary as they travel to find materials for the clan. Whenever possible, this group consists of a small handful of trainee dragons, a team of three advanced fighters, and one medic.

Often, the dragons in this group are raised from young adulthood within the group to ensure a greater focus on their training.

Not to be confused with the medic dragon that can be found travelling with ravagers, these dragons are more along the lines of domestic healers. They work constantly to provide as much aid as is needed within the clan, and are generally seen very highly as a result. These dragons are immensely loyal to the clan, and are treated the same way in return.

The members of this group maintain a very wholesome outlook on life, strengthened by one another, as it is their shared ideal to be as unconditionally kind as possible, providing treatment and comfort to anyone who needs it.

Additionally, this group has a glowing reputation within the clan for both outstanding kindness and a sense of magic that surpasses the rest of the members of the clan.

Oftentimes, the dragons in the group are chosen before they are born, many times being the subjects of prophecies. In other cases, however, dragons may join following major life events or other such occurrences that cause them to re-evaluate their path.
