Should I regene him even though it's getting rid of expensive gem genes? Or does he look better as is?

I would wait two months, then decide. The tapir/striation is undoubtedly gorgeous. But wait a bit for the newness of it to wear off, and see how you feel then.

Definitely no spines. As for tapir and striation, i agree that you should wait a month or two.

Yeah I don't think the genes will hold a market long I give them a month tops before they bottom out kind of like the savanah/safari

I think he looks great the way he is, and you could always wait for the Wasp gene to come out before deciding. I would personally keep him the way he is. I don't really like the way the spines look, either.

I like the tap/stri more, but I think underbelly or glimmer would be better than spines. Whatever you decide, he's gorgeous!
