Very disappointed that Wriothesley yet again is still not getting his first rerun... I have been waiting for him over a year and I got around 350 pulls saved. Instead Neuvillette gets his 2nd rerun in 2nd phase, like why? I just want my first copy of Wriothesley so bad. I mean I want Neuvi C1, but I don't even know anymore. If I lose my 50/50 then that is it, it is not worth wasting 160 pulls for a constellation imo. (and I lost my 50/50 on his 1st rerun)
It feels like it has only been meta characters to get reruns during Natlan so far. :/ I don't care for meta. Please just let me have Wrio, Hoyoverse! [emoji=coatl sad size=1]

It's been a running joke that Hoyo is jailing all the cryo characters. Shenhe, Ganyu and even 4 star Mika. Not sure what they're doing but they did buff shatter this coming 5.2 patch, but not sure if that reaction even matters to them. ;;
I wish they implemented selectable banners like they did to HI3 and HSR banners. Hold on a bit longer for him!

As a F2P player, I am in despair. They have the audacity to bring out Zhongli for 5.2. I'm still slowly recovering after Nahida and her weapon banner ate up all of my 180 fates. I was fortunate enough to get her and both 5-star weapons, plus I made the smart choice to place 60 pity via Kinich's banner to get her "early".
*Sigh* Sure doesn't help that I am trying to save up for Alhaitham and his weapon. Zhongli's banner about to become the Devil's Temptation for me lmao.

I think what they did with Wrio is what unintentionally happened to Kaveh before kek (not appearing on banners for a VEEEEEEEERY long time)

...but at the same time I've got a sneaking suspicion they're saving the cryo banners for 5.3 when Mavuika shakes up the meta for pyro reactions to maximize fomo. x_x I can 100% see Hoyo pulling a Mavuika/Citlali with a Wrio/Shenhe rerun. Plus we should be due for a new chronicled banner soon and guess which characters happen to qualify: Ayaka and Ganyu!

Hi there, not sure if I'm allowed to post here. But I'm interested in starting Genshin Impact, but it is such a huge game and already so far ahead.
Is it recommended to start playing as a new player, or will I have missed out on too much to enjoy it?

It's definitely not too late! It's a big game, yes, but that just means there's so much more for you to do and explore in terms of content. It is however easy to get burnt out so I would advice the following:
1) Only pull/wish for characters YOU are interested in. There are so many guides based on what's best character for this, what's best character for that, at the end of the day it's not going to matter if you end up with characters you don't even like. Not to mention there are so many characters released so make sure to save for the one you personally think you will enjoy the most.
2) Explore the game at your own pace. If you want to explore, you explore. If you want to do quests, you do quests. Do what you feel like doing.

First of all, welcome! I personally really love Genshin - it has a pretty intriguing story and it's a nice casual experience
(save for the Theater, Abyss, and the occasional frustrating overworld puzzle...)
You only really will have missed out on event storylines - those are unfortunately limited and some lore is scattered around sparingly in those. All of the world quests, main quests, character story quests, etc are available, and that's really where the meat and potatoes of the game is.
It
is a bit of a commitment, with dailies and stuff. Also, you need to be patient depending on what characters you want, as you need to wait for them to rotate in. If you have the room for that, though, definitely give it the ole try.

So my pulls were... frustrating. I used all my wishes, somehow got back to back to back 5stars... (nobody I wanted oof) and still only got one copy of Ororon with190 pulls. That... hurt. A lot. X_x
