Hmm, I kind of wondered if maybe the new ancient would have something to do with Arlo

The devs did mention the word "Cantankerous" to describe them

Dinosaur Ancient?? I'm game! But the devs still didn't pop the bubble of hype for a duo headed ancient so I'm still hopeful to having a duo headed dragon?

I feel like any dromaeosaurs would be too close to WCs when there are tons of other dinosaur + prehistoric reptile species to work with. I personally hope they're based on a pterosaur or pachycephalosaur judging by what might be a skull cap on the silhouette. Maybe it'll be based on more than one species if it does have 2-3 heads!

[/quote] Agreed- the sillhouette still has very Plague vibes to me and I would expect any ancient associated with Arlo/digging to be Earth based. Earth also just got a new modern, so they won't be getting an ancient any time soon. Now that all this has been said, a little sister rivalry with Plaguebringer having a dino-based ancient and Glademom going "oh I can do that better, watch" to make Wildclaws would be very funny and ironic. I just dont personally think that's what we've got coming for us.

I feel like if the ancient is going to be released through a site activity it'll be Baldwin. Why?

1. This thing is obviously a mutant. It has multiple heads and tails.

2. Baldwin has been part of the site for years, so many people have reached the high level recipes. Arlo is brand new. It wouldn't make sense to release an ancient breed in an early tier for Arlo.

3. Baldwin is awesome.

Honestly everyone thinks the new ancient will be for Plague but, if the ancients are being released in the same order as the Bounty of The Elements stories, Nature's story is first.


I firmly believe the next ancient is Nature, not Plague.

[/quote] I'm pretty sure the devs confirmed a while back that the ancients are not being released by the story order, though I might be thinking of something else!
