The layers of apparel you've put on him/it works well together and combine to an almost skin-like effect. Their lore is creative and amplifies the sense of 'otherness' they have. I also like her matching familiar! At first glance her cerulean capsule might seem out of place, but you've made it look amazing by bringing in pops of the same color with apparel. And you only had to scatter her twice to get such a stunning color combo, which is awesome. He's like a little rave scholar puppy I want to take home with me. @Kalistys ak, sorry it took me longer than expected to choose just five dragons - your lair is so lovely and I can tell you adore your dragons! (Then, typically I got interrupted and my comments about the finally selected dragons had to wait) I love dusthides and I'm enjoying seeing them around! Anacharis is just wonderful - what lucky, matchy colours! Even her eyes match the blue and green combo. Great use of the feathered wings, covering more of that bright Noxtide just makes the vibrancy pop more. All of the apparel is perfectly chosen (and I love how his familiar Sass is looking at the falling petals!) This lad got all the expensive genes but boy it was worth it! I was surprised when I checked how many apparel pieces he was wearing - its all so subtle and fits together so well, I was sure he only had a handful of stuff! Chocolate and mint have always been a superb combination in my opinion and the seafoam underbelly is so pretty. You dressed him impeccably well too because the crystalcourt cascades are stunning when paired with the seapetal crown. Not a single piece of apparel feels out of place and I love that, definitely feels like you took great care in crafting a beautiful ensemble for him.[/columns] [columns][font=times]What a beautiful nocturne!! Usually nocturnes always feel unfinished to me because I'm used to them being the base for most g1s I acquire but Auretta blew me away with how pretty and complete she feels. Personally I have a hard time getting those pale roundhorns to match with anyone so seeing them look so gorgeous on her makes me happy and I'm always a fan of the song of the western wind. Not to mention gem thief also looks great here! The skin looks really cool, with the enormously long horns and the scarves and such. His apparel matches really well with the skin too; so well that I can't immediately tell what is a part of the skin and what's not. The colour combo is super pretty, and I like how there's just that little bit of green from the bronze opal tertiary. The bronze flair with the bit of teal works really well with the colours of the steel capsule. And then there's the gold trim from the accent on top of it, which is a nice touch. The familiar matches very well, and I like how the eyes in their tail look kind of like Knell's marigold flowerfall. I love this skin, and the gold from it matches really well with the candles and flowerfall. Even though her colours are a bit bright in comparison to the dragons around her, the apparel and skin do a good job helping her to blend in. The colors really pair well together- the darker primary suits the blues in the spruce, and I didn't actually realize there was a tert gene until I looked. Diamondback and rattlesnake are really interesting genes and I like the contrast between the purple and the mintier tones (purples/pastels are something I wish I was better at in my own lair, I'll be so real with you). After seeing what potential plans you might have for future genes... I do have to say I think I might actually like the current primary you have- I think the darker tones mesh a little bit better with one another than the bright pops you'd get with a different primary gene. Ultimately, still a very cool dragon![/columns] [columns][size=3]Now this... this is my color scheme. I don't know what about the purples and oranges it is that makes me get reminded of venetian masks/jesters, but I'm 100% seated and here for it. Also the way you've managed to pair a familiar with such close colors??? Kudos. I fight for my life some days with the color matching. Love/Affection can be kind of cluttery from what I've seen, but I think with it being the male pose it really works. Also, mulberry is such a good purple to work with on so many levels, so you're definitely winning on this front. The light eyes match the glasses match the jewelry you've given him matches the accent- a fest one at that! He reminds me of a philosopher or an astronomer. I don't think I ever would have thought at first that a purple primary would help get that sort of vibe across, but I think it really hammers it home for me in this case! Definitely giving shadowy bog with lilypads everywhere. I perused the apparel ideas for her as well and I think number 2 and 3 would be really cool to see! The greens would contrast super nicely and give that sort of overgrown pond look if that's what you're going for. The sylvan bracelets also really look lovely; gives a bit of a fairytale/fae element to it that I really enjoy. I don't think I've ever seen this color combo in effect before and I think it's really interesting- I thought that it had to be in part to a skin/accent, but it's mostly just genes with a smattering of light accessories! She reminds me of a spring/summer breeze in the garden with the sunshine coming through the trees. And yes, the genes might be a little cluttered but I do think that overall it really makes the look come together for me personally. The caterpillar familiar too??? So good. 11/10, so lovely. Your entire lair is really neat and it'd be fun to see where you end up once you've gotten more of your dragons to their final forms!

@Syklus First off we have Nettle. Right off the bat: love the name. Very spooky and spikey, which seems very fitting. The skin also caught my attention, I love the skeletal tail bones. Good use of subtle apparel, like the tar trap claws and the birdskull necklace. After taking a look in the scry workshop I must say that the soap tert is very fun, I like how it makes a bubbly look on her tail's underscales, like she's unstable or even made of tar herself! Its all very spooky and comes together quite well! I really like the matchyness of the accent with the familiar, the darks and the lights working together. The scar apparel is done really nicely too, you can tell that this dragon has hard a hard life. The use of the tar trap legs to work with the skin is once again very clever, I can see its a common trick of yours! The subtle reds of the blush soap is really good and an execpected use of that otherwise clashing tert! Bravo! I really love plant themed dragons so my eyes were very quickly drawn to the pretty use of layering the treeshroud, bonecarvers cage, and the accent itself! I love the gilded gold accents, especially the summer swelter adding even more leafy vibes. The boa apparel is super cute and I wanna give it many pets. The spearmint stained gives a very nice muted green color used with the thistle and blood. Finally, the scene brings it all together to tell a story of a lovely librarian. Ive seen this skin around before but it looks especially good on Hound. The branches and the autumnal colors looks very good with the rabbit and plants. The white of her faux fur is super adorable and I love her swirly brown underbelly. The scene and familiar match very well, which i always appreciate. I also like how the marlin gene adds an almost glow behind the rabbit on the fins, helping it stand out more. And her description, woof indeed! Its hard not to love such a cute derg. The lore of this dragon intrigues me. Pistachio augment is super pretty and definitely needs to be used more often. I love how the subtle specks in bee and wasp look like stars, even more of the space theme! I also like how the familiar looks almost like a planet too! The hints of the deep blue, almost purple accents really make him stand out compared to some of the other gold/sun themed dragons in your lair, and the mix of the different armor sets is so satisfying- I love seeing how many different ways armor can be layered and put on! Certainly curious about his backstory, but he lives up to his title nonetheless. (I personally have an entire tab of seraphim based dragons in my hibden myself). The flame cloak is possibly the real mvp with that really solid, lovely blue tone though- it complements the blue on his wings perfectly! He's the most perfect eccentric, cluttered dragon I have ever seen in my life and I don't think anyone would leave without having shiny trinkets thoroughly examined, but altogether wholesome chaos. 11/10 would steal for my lair. The cyan accent, the darker blues with the whites with the apparel with the skin- everything fits so wonderfully together and she very much gives the image of either an amazonian warrior or futuristic space queen? Somehow both, actually. Either way, would not want to wind up on her bad side, but she's so lovely. Somehow the smaller details make her look very delicate in comparison to the rather bulky frames the obelisks have. Overall, your lair is gorgeous and low-key goals!
