My whole lair is based off of knights! Or, a lot of my lore is, anyways.
Adriel, the clan leader, custom progen, and head knight of the Knights of the Radiant. Her charge is knighthood, and the concepts and ideals accompanying, so she decided to make her own order of knights to protect the weak and defend honor and bravery. She is completely loyal to her cause.

Chester, the clan's night [s]knight[/s] guard. He pretends he's not all about nobility and bravery and chivalry and all that nonsense like Adriel's always blathering on about, but when he's on duty protecting the sleeping, or when things get serious, he's one of Adriel's best Knights. And he absolutely believes "all that nonsense."

Bartholomew, yet another Knight of the Radiant. He fights because he likes to, and that's it! He's brave and tough, and very kind. All Knights in the clan are assigned to protect something- sometimes a general "protect the weak" cause, but some dragons protect more (like Chester protects the sleeping). He doesn't realize it, cheer being so a part of his nature, but his job is to protect the clan's happiness.
