would designating particular dragons as static or animated (not overwriting anyones accessibility settings) be within the scope of this?
like okay hypothetical: I want to apply flutterby to one dragon in my lair, and dearly departed to another. I want flutterby to display as animating (to me or anyone with animations on), but I want dearly departed to remain static. is it possible for there to be a "per dragon switch" that lets me turn one off but leave the other on--not even "would this happen" but "CAN this happen"
[s]or does this already exist and I just missed it [emoji=skull size=1][/s]

There are two squirrels inside of me - one is hibernating, the other one is stealing your memes.
This dragon is displaying an animated effect:
Puttin' on the ritz! Applies bright animated glitter spots to just the body of one dragon.
Like apparel, skins, and scenes, effects are purely cosmetic items that can be added and removed from dragons at any time.
Azlyn is displayed as a fallback image due to an error while loading Effect: Glitz effect.
Azlyn can finally be sparkly for real with the glitz effect! I have no idea if this'll work in the actual post, I'm using the effect share thing but all it shows in the preview is the plain dragon...

#UnnamedIsValid
Unnamed dragons need love too! There is no shame in having unnamed permas, having dragons with unnamed parents and/or offspring, or exalting unnamed dragons! Leaving dragons unnamed is a perfectly valid playstyle!
she/her or they/them
This dragon is displaying an animated effect:
Sometimes, you just gotta practice your scales. This item applies a scintillating pattern of reflective scales to just the body of one dragon.

@Polareis What an amazing feature! Are you planning to add any way to preview them before purchase? Either as you would with skins by clicking on them, and/or through the Dressing Room.

You can preview them by going to the item's database page, hovering over the example dragon, and clicking the magnifying glass!

Omg thank you for this, I could not figure it out from mobile until you pointed it out, since "hovering" doesn't happen automatically (you gotta tap to make the tool thing appear)
