Biography
Status: Active
Role: Scholar, Clan Leader of the Living
???: The Beginning of Eternity
StarGazer was among the first dragons born into the ice flight, and is nearly the same age as IceWarden. However, in the earliest days of the dragons, the Shade still had his grip on parts of the developing Soreinth, but was losing it quickly. In a desperate attempt to keep his hold on the world, he corrupted clusters of dragons with his foul magic. StarGazer was one of the many unlucky dragons to suffer his influence, and was given the name Charon.
???: Hidden Talents
Charon, as a corruption of the Shade, was "blessed" with many unusual abilities. She became a magic user of the unspoken 12th flight. Her magic, often referred to as life magic, gave her control over the cycles of life and death. She could choose whether or not to suffer the effects of time, and remained eternally youthful. Unbeknownst to her at the time, the spell was irreversible, and she was cursed to bear the appearance of a middle-aged dragon for eternity.
Charon's magic wasn't limited to herself. She could raise the dead, or rapidly age an enemy into dust. Many came to fear her and her clanmates.
???: Revolution
A century later, the Flights had gained a substantial number of dragons. the Shade corrupted dragons began to vanish; they either retreated into hiding or were slaughtered. Flight-born dragons had no tolerance for the Shade or her magic, perceiving them as evil. Fearing for her own life, Charon cast an immortality spell on herself, forever guaranteeing life after death. She didn't consider the possibility that the Shade corrupted dragons craved death after years of being hunted and exiled.
???: Winds of Change
The few corrupted dragons that remained banded together and became aggressively hostile toward flight born dragons as a survival tactic. They either slaughtered them, or corrupted them. Naturally, this attitude only increased flight-born hatred toward them. Charon denounced the new "Way of the Shade" and kept her identity hidden. She decided to take on the role of an ice-born dragon once again. She abandoned the name Charon, and began calling herself StarGazer once more.
Taught Garnet everything she knows about necromancy.
Aided Babayaga in her journey to master the flight elements.
January 2019:
