"It is ignorant to believe we are the only intelligent species in the universe." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Ammanas is a scientist by nature, he finds confidence in facts and happiness in research. Being born in the Arcane Flight, he has always been surrounded by the stars, so it was only natural that he went into astronomy. In his birth clan, he was seen as somewhat of a genius, always being able to figure out any question that crossed his inquisitive mind. Being so intellectual was no only a gift, it was also a curse. Generally, dragons struggle to relate to Ammanas and likewise, he has difficulty making conversation with them. when he met the Stardust Scholar of the Arcane flight, he felt like he had finally met someone on the same wave length as himself. One night, while sitting on top of a snowy mountain in the ice fields staring through a telescope, an alluring lady called Celeste asked what he was looking for. As he began to explain about the supernova he'd been studying, she just laughed at him. At first he felt confused, the angry at her ridiculing him. She explained that she meant no offence, but only that he had misinterpreted her question. It was a question about the heart, not the mind. Celeste perplexed him, unlike any star he had ever studied as she was completely illogical but made him question everything. Slowly, but surely, he began to open his heart and ended up pouring his soul in Celeste, who nutured it lovingly. He still thoroughly loves his research, but has learnt to stop every now and then and really look at the stars. |

"Sometimes you have to just stop and listen" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Celeste was born with a special gift: the ability to hear the stars. Her parents always encouraged her to listen to her heart and learn the art of astrology, but growing up in a Light Clan made it very difficult for her. She was constantly bullied for believing in such illogical things such as divination. She withdrew into solitude, away from dragon-kind and their hurtful worlds. She began hearing voices, they said all kinds of bizarre things, sometimes wonderful, sometimes frightening. Celeste truly thought she was cursed. After much internal fighting, she finally gave up. She began to listen to the voices and realised they spoke hidden truths. She decided to take up astrology and learn about the zodiac. She learned that the key to peace was accepting yourself. She gained inner peace, and spent most of her time, laying under the stars. One night, she discovered a handsome imperial dragon. His faced was crumpled with concentration, Celeste could see how overworked he was. She saw his dedication to the stars and for the first time, in a long time, she wanted the company of another dragon. She approached him and asked what he was looking for, as she was curious about the expression on his face. He began to talk scientific jargon regarding Supernovas. She couldn't help but laugh, he had been staring at the wonderful universe this whole time and had completely missed the beauty of it... She found it adorable. His name was Cosmo and he was offended at her laughing at him by her laughter. She told him to look through his telescope again, but without thinking. He struggled at first, confused by her ways. They began to spend more and more time together and she showed him the beauty of the stars. She learned that the stars weren't only a form of divination and imagery, but were much more complex that she first realised. |
