hello, i'm myx, i like video games i occasionally write and draw |
within the densest part of the tangled woods, surrounding it the scent of new rain, stands an oak tree so wide that one seems to be unable to get around it. each time you make a full circle, you appear to end up in a new place, surroundings warped and obscured by thickening, silky mist. upon invitation, however, one circles it to find a gargantuan door embedded in thick bark. a large darksteel key appears in your pocket.
the door opens to the heavy scent of bergamot and leaves, and a steep, downward passageway leads you to the central space of glow-mist hide. tiny luminous mushrooms and bell-plants illuminate the walls and edges, and the thick thistle carpet feels soft and dry. one large passageway at the rear side leads to other tunnels and chambers, but the central space is lined with black bookshelves of charming volumes, from esoteric tomes to little fiction paperbacks.
three large blanket nests of woven linen are bundled towards the edges of the large room; in one of them sleeps a large, pearly imperial, head resting atop his unfinished book, darksteel glasses laying on its side. opon noticing your presence, he stirs calmly from his rest and curls himself neatly into a bow.
