Since you're still reading this, here's a money printing tip: rusted chests and iron chests on average HS for equivalent ~1700t and ~8500t, but are often listed under these on AH for some reason. Auctioning apparel at fodder prices will make more per chest, but it takes a while to list everything.
Gilded chests are priced "correctly" (HS value ~29-30g?) on AH, so buying them is not profitable.
