also, (naturally), my broadcast message is a quote from SCP 3309. very fun read, very meta. also pearlcatcher is the SCP fandragon breed to me. the pearls are like. the anomalies. you see (we're going to ignore Veilspun haha)

Scylla is mythologically the counterpart of Charybdis, they are lovers who are transformed into monsters of the sea...Scylla becomes a spiky rock formation and Charybdis a giant whirlpool on opposite sides of an important waterway. They are forced to kill any passerbys, longing for each other's touch but, but unable to reach due to being natural formations now...
I was checking if you had a Skylla, but then just made a 'lost partner model' up. Skylla is probably similar to Charybdis, just a male in my imagination...maybe he is still out there, doing the creators bidding? Or decrepit, at the bottom of the sea?

I was imagining it as Charybdis having moved on from her past. She was one half of a whole but made herself complete by finding a new companion she actually adores, not just one programmed into her by AI.
