Originally founded by the guardian Nightshield and her partner Flameburst of the Shadow flight, the clan moved to Wind after the founders went into hibernation, to sleep until the gods die and the Shade claims all of Sornieth.
The clan is lead by a council of leaders and elders, each of whom oversees a specific aspect of the clan--be it foraging, fighting, or the clan's wealth. Dragons who have spent more time as Council members have more authority within it, but there is no age requirement to be a member.
The clan's warriors act as guardians of the clan--and as mercenaries, selling their services when unneeded by the clan to the highest bidder.
