Here you can meet dragons that are fascinated by observing cosmos. They mostly are scientists and astronomers, but some are artists and explorers. Dragons that are gifted with the strongest magic skills, and have appropriate predispositions are able (after years of learning in Star Academy) to fly so high they cross the thermosphere. From this moment, they became Stellar Explorers which is most respectable job in this clan. They are collecting data about space and other life forms. They are silent observators and have no right to expose themselves to any other life forms. The situation where they find dragons from other worlds that are also collecting space data is the only exception from this rule.
Sometimes the explorers from Star Clan visit other planets just to observe how life is going there, but they have many methods of adapting to the environment and masking their presence. There were situations when Stellar Explorers felt so connected to certain individuals on a planet they were visiting, that they decided to spend many years there and act as a silent protectors and caretakers. All dragons eventually come back here, to the Star Clan to mate, share their stories and data they gathered. They feel really connected to this place and they claim that only other Stellar Explorer can understand their stories and feelings in full. At one point it became a noticeable fact, that most Stellar Explorers in this clan have their scales and fur colored in various tones of purple and black colors. When asked about that, almost every dragon that was able to visit space claimed that they became so obsessed with what they were able to see there, they started to classify genes and colors that reminds cosmic views more attractive than the others. This, with the fact that Stellar Explorers feel so connected to their community, after some generations gave the effect of their characteristic look. __________________________________________
