Cries echo in the distance with the sound of clashing talons in its wake, weapons of war and destruction screaming in the blood soaked silence. Dragons of all shapes and sizes litter the ground, no flight distinguishable from another with the dull and lifeless eyes of the dead. The harsh coppery metallic tang of blood still soaks the air, the trauma to the area noticed by the large crater like marks left in the wake of the war.

The world mourns in silent sorrow, when the dead have long since passed and the marks of war left upon the world. The generations heard the tales of the battle in harrowing detail, reliving a moment of history that marked a new era.

A mountain rests above the battlefield, a rocky hillscape littered with those that fought the war and were never welcomed home. Many have long since passed, leaving behind the new generations in their wake. However a few of the ancients still remain, watching over the lair in the mountains from their peak in the sky. The Lair of rotting disease is home to any and all that were never welcomed, forever lost, or traumatized by the memories.

There are many stories to be told here in the depths of the Rotting Disease, many lost and lonely souls crying out for their stories to be told and their justice to be had.
