When the branches of the Starwood Strand stretched up and tangled with the very cosmos itself, it also interwove the fates of many dragons. Aphelion is the focal center of this entanglement, an isolated microcosm sheltered by arcing trees and celestial flowers. For some, it is a temporary reprieve from their own spacetime. Others are left floundering at the permanent loss of their old life. And yet, a community persists, made from dragons who have both lost and found themselves amidst the trees. |
