Hi! Sorry for the late reply! Thank you! Eunuchs are very fascinating, especially since the more research I've done, the more i (and some of the other few scholars researching it lol) it seems like they function as a third gender in Byzantine society. I'm doing my research for a short-form essay that's going to be published in a local magazine; I write about how things are (mis)represented in stuff like historical fiction. I've also done a presentation (which I am turning into an essay) about Ancient Spartans and disability in historical fiction, which I can also ramble on about.

Right now I'm a bit in a turning point in my life, so if you want I can PM you about it!

Also, I saw you're a history major! I've been researching Byzantine Eunuchs since September, and I am the person who thinks daily about the (Eastern) Roman Empire

Aww, thanks for picking Naraka! They're actually a random dragon I hand picked as a partner for Sombre because they produce a wide range of unique colors when paired with him- it always makes me happy when she gets some recognition- it makes her feel less like a mail order wife and more like a true member of my clan, lol ^^
