Heyo! I'm fading in and out of hiatus as I work on my dissertation (dissertation complete!... but now I'm teaching, so work takes priority over dragons, alas). When I'm here, I like to collect things. Always fond of neat lineages, interesting stories, and dragons with glitches or other quirks. Honestly just anything that can be lore'd about. I write too much lore (and am happy to write for people!)

• Exalting, but not as a regular thing and usually only of dragons I breed myself.
• DMs and friend requests are welcome!
• Letters from hatchlings are also welcome!
• Currently on a quest to collect a har/jes/rare colorwheel. Wish me luck!

If you dive deep enough, the lake waters become thick with salt, and things with many eyes begin to turn their gaze in your irrelevant, irreverent direction. It's probably nothing. Go back to sleep.



The Coelacanth Crew, or just the Crew if you're not trying to sound especially fancy, is a loose-knit bundle of misfits who found their way into a few bright, warm corners of the Sea of a Thousand Currents under the comforting pressure of the depths. They are welcoming and will not turn away those in need of help, and are perpetually under the steady, watchful gaze of... something.

The clan was founded by the nomadic siblings Tethyan and Farallon, who finally decided to do something vaguely amounting to settling down. Tethyan still wanders, following a call from the furthest reaches of the Leviathan Trench - a call he believes to be from the Tidelord.

But there are things below with many eyes.

Something has happened to him, now. He was greatly changed, when he returned from his wanderings, and with him came an ancient creature walking about like a mirror of his former self. Something is very, very wrong.



The Crew is a gathering of dragons from all walks of life, some running from things, some looking for a new start, some hoping simply for someplace warm to curl up for a while.

Those who know of the danger are hard at work appeasing it.
