Lair Lore

Ogofabit.

No one knows where the name came from or what it means but it has been their name for so long that no one dares change.

The Ogofabiti have made their homes in the cliffsides of the Carrion Canyon, carved out by the Ridgebacks and Guardians of the clan; long, winding channels that interconnect and double back rest just below the surface, with hidden entrances and caves. The caves are a labyrinth that only those who call them home know.

While the Ogofabiti are now led solely by the lightning mark Mirror Maize they were founded by her and her mate Solemn years ago, started in a single cliffside cave during a thunderstorm that shook the ground. It was in this cave that their first clutch was lain and it is here that Solemn rests, blinded by unknown attackers and too sick to rule his clan anymore.

There are dark whispers in the air now, whispers that Maize throws her offspring and those of her clan mates off the cliffs in sacrifice to her God. They are different, the other clans of the Shifting Expanse whisper, not prone to technology and more beast than dragon. The Ogofabiti are fine with these whisper. Some of them might even be true.
