Though the lands of Aekaeria show no signs of inner fighting, there is no doubt the kingdom is at war with itself. The battle gnaws at the worn bones of its victims, an ever present burn in the citizens that swear nothing is wrong.

Long ago, the reigning monarch hadn’t produced a legitimate heir and promised the throne to his eldest, claiming he would inherit the throne if no heir was born. The monarch aged and no heir was born. The years passed.

Then, the Prince was born. He was raised in the lap of the palace, and the monarch cast aside those illegitimate, banished from the kingdom for the Prince to grow alone as the sole heir to the throne of Aekaeria.

The Stolen Voices
The eldest returned, a Ringleader of those unwanted in the ruling lands, or those who felt he should be the ruler, the leader of the Stolen Voices. Their voices were taken, and he would get them back.

The Hallowed Echoes
With turmoil brewing, the Prince rallied against the Stolen Voices, without the knowledge of his half brother. He created the Hallowed Echoes, an elite guard force with immense power. The kingdom would remain free from a tyrant.
