The Lore

All dragons in the Dusk and Dawn clan are inherently good.

However, the concept of Good is subjective.

In this clan, Dusk comes before Dawn. It is sometimes necessary to embrace the shadows before everyone can see the bright future.

Ryuu and Miyako are the proud originators of the Dusk lineage. Ryuu is an assassin, and Miyako is a spy, both able to take out the threats to the clan in their own ways. Their children are born innocent, but if they or a loved one's life is ever in danger, they unleash their full abilities. Due to the natures of their parents, they are able to turn into either a spy or an assassin, depending on the type of danger they face when they unlock their powers.

Then, comes Dawn.

Akihiko and Akemi are the originators of the Dawn lineage. Whilst traveling through the Lightweaver's realm, Akihiko and Akemi encountered each other and decided to travel together from then on. The Lightweaver deemed them worthy to grant a piece of her power to. She had heard of the rapidly strengthening power of Ryuu's Dusk lineage and wished to balance it, both for the Dusk and the outside world's sake. She sent them to settle with the Dusk in the Wispwillow Grove.
The Dawn understand the need for Dusk, but they are the ones who choose to view the future as bright and hopeful. They are the diplomatic side of the clan.

All other dragons who join the Dusk and Dawn clan admire the fine balance between the two forces, and are protected by both. However, they themselves do not have an affiliation with either. The ruling class serves to act as a neutral force between the two lineages, in order to ensure the best interests of the clan.
