A wandering clan of warriors and librarians, the Orpiment Clan started its days on the shifting plains of the Ashfall Waste, and was encouraged to adapt to the ever-changing expanse of that volcanic land. A peaceful, prosperous clan, full of bright and high-energy individuals, it struggled to find its feet in the sulphuric air of the Waste, which called for constant adaptation.

Finding the landscape too harsh for their easy-going natures, the dragons of the Orpiment Clan moved on from the Flamecaller's domain, searching for a new home wherein they could flourish and immerse themselves in the culture of their land. They finally set foot in the Sunbeam Ruins, where the Clan was able to comfortably grow and shrink as they saw fit.
