[OOC notes: UNDER CONSTRUCTION]
Welcome to the Kommune Gletschersee (Glacial Lake Commune)
Tundras populate all corners of Sornieth, they originate in Ice Flight. They are perfectly adapted to the harsh and unforgiving climate of the Southern Icefield, the Icewarden’s domain. Almost everywhere else they struggle with heat exhaustion.
This is why Tundra dragons across all Flights network and pool their ideas and resources to cope with temperatures they were never intended to find homely.
And one day a group of four particularly plucky and ingenious young Tundras found a way to make the sun their ally rather than their fearsome enemy. Their names were Sparrowhawk, Leodegrance, Glacier and Markander.
Markander was a natural mono-coloured Crystal/Facet/Gembond dragon and always found heat to be much less of a problem for her than for many of her Tundra friends. Markander was also a tinkerer and forever busy cobbling together gadgets and contraptions.
Through the Tundra Social Network (TSN) Markander befriended Sparrowhawk, a Tundra from the Nature Flight, who was tackling the heat problem with meditation exercises to exert mental control over his body. Under his guidance Markander learned to regulate her body temperature at will, as long as she stayed focused on that task.
During their many practice and mediation sessions Markander and Sparrowhawk discovered, quite by accident, that Markander’s particular physique as mono-coloured Crystal/Facet/Gembond dragon allowed her to reflect and refract incoming sunlight and thus heat. As long as she stayed focused on that task. The pair was electrified by this discovery and published it on the TSN.
Mere hours later two Tundras by the names of Glacier and Leodegrance, who were by trade an alchemist and a physician, approached the pair independently, both offering collaboration. Since Markander already enjoyed the hospitality of Sparrowhawk’s parental clan, Glacier and Leodegrance agreed to join them deep inside the Viridian Labyrinth.

You have such an incredible Lair. The diversity your dragons display is absolutely wonderful and so well-dressed for many of them. Not only that, each familiar matches so well with each of your dragons. I hope you have a wonderful new year and happy NotN!

I happened upon your lair through a sales hatchling and ended up browsing through your amazingly dressed dragons. They match their familiars in such clever ways :)
