It's kind of like bee but I'd love something more solid and intense with those subtle watercolour-like textures! Support!

There's not much of a grand fancy concept behind these really, and I'm not too tied down to the names of the genes either. Honestly, I just started doodling shapes on a wildclaw, and liked the direction that it started to go in!
Of course, I couldn't help but play around and try out different colour combos too. :D The colours were eyedropped from seraph.
Also, not sure if I should post this again in the secondary gene suggestion thread...? :T

Okay, bear with me because this is my first fake gene -- ever. I've drawn accents before, so this is pretty much how I decided to go about this. This is a rough rough rough markup because I have no idea how to create fake genes.
So, I decided to run with @/terhothyl's idea of the Runes compliments. This is what I came up with, in Silver.

Might I suggest a new pair- Creased and Folded.

(This obviously wouldn’t affect the lineart, these are just examples to show different folding styles)

Tatter
It would make the wings and accents look worn down and slightly torn in some places. possibly with cracks for horns or other similar accents. Some minor line art edits could make it pop but wouldn't necessarily be needed depending on how it's done.

OMG yes!! I fully support!! (Sorry for the double post)

I think soul, and by that I mean the wing fades away as it gets closer to the edges.

I made a post about Whale, now time for Shark! I quick doodled a potential gene pair based off of whale shark patterns. Please forgive that I put the secondary above the primary.

My mockup three colors total, which I sampled from genes such as Jaguar, Skink, and Falcon, to add both eye-catching secondaries and a darker base.
I previewed the secondary with genes such as Jaguar, Poison, and Skink, to show it can work well with other genes. (I am biased towards Jag/Ros and Skink/Spin hence I showed it twice, but I'm sure it would look good with other genes!)
I used a Pearlcatcher to demonstrate the genes because it shows it easier, though I doodled a bit on a Skydancer (didn't save the image) and that looked alright, so I believe that it would look good on other breeds. Because this is a rough sketch, anything coming out of the lineart is unintentional, so neither gene should break the lineart.
