Glass: Like the glasswing butterfly. Molten/Ash: Kind of like the pyroclastic dragons for dnd in that the parts of the dragon look almost magma in design but it would pull the "fire" color from the dragons secondary color. would be good for a primary and a secondary gene i think. Poison: Based on any of the many patterns of the poison dart frog. Again this could work as a primary and a secondary gene. Feathering or fur on the wings would be cool, but I'm not sure how do-able that would be.

More workable, I suspect:
Leaf veining, or dragonfly style veining
Striping starting at the base of the wings instead of the ends
marbling
Rorschach blots

how about slightly damaged looking wings? holes, rips, tears, ruffled looking feathers.

How about a simple gradient from the inner wing to the edges? It is a small thing but little things like that can make a big difference.

I actually like the "fragile" genetics, where there are thin or worn spots. It would require no/minimal lineart changes, too.

The molten dragon secondary and primary sounds fantastic. Imagine that combined with the gembond tertiary.

I'm also for the fragile genetics.

Rorschach diagrams! Would make an interesting secondary gene or maybe tertiary. I also think this would look good across dragons, and if there was a way for there to be about 10 different patterns and one to be applied to a dragon at random, that would be neat. :) Link to image!

Veins w/ thin see-through wings: I've always loved plants and how they have many different beautiful vein-y looking natural designs. This would work well as a secondary or tertiary, and would require no line changes and may look good across all dragons. How about a sort of tortoise shell/ calico pattern that could effect all 3 types of patters? They could be all bundled together in one scroll, and would be more likely to pass onto females than males. I'd suggest wing bars and/or shoulder patches
Wing veining might be an interesting addition.

Another option; this one would involve a slight line art alteration, would be fancy wing extensions; similar to the fae wings (for the fae exaggerate them even more?)
