Update: I did some quick test colors on an imperial. (Yes I just traced an imperial head I didn’t want to draw a whole new one)

Yes, I like this. A lot of the tert genes we have available are too busy, especially now with the new prim/sec genes that seem to get busier and busier. We need some really simple genes.

Agreed, I want to see points brought to life. I always love seeing more gene options, personally, simpye and complex alike.. i'd love to see more done~!

I like the sketch examples but it was really hard to tell where points was applied because it's all the same colors, and thus looks like Fade/Blend, so I decided to make an example myself of what I imagine it'd ideally look like?
Magenta Points, cause it's a very clashy eye catching color so you get the idea well. Skydancers have no ears so there's no ear coloring, my bad. Could possibly have a gradient on the head feathers but I personally didn't like that [shrug]

Points needs a gradient on the wingtips, too; we’ve got a lot of terts that only apply to the body, and they always seem a bit unbalanced to me. That would differentiate it a bit more from Okapi, too.
