That makes more sense to me. [/quote] It makes more sense to me too that Arlo digs up genes for Ancients, but that's not how its working! I like having breed specific genes that make those breeds stand out, and special, this is the first time I've ever requested an Ancient gene be crossed back to moderns (modern genes crossover regularly to Ancients) Currently Sparkle and Ringlets are my goto tert scries for Boulder/Myrid, I haven't found any other terts that really gel with the genes. I just keep wanting Kumo, its the same vibe and would work with tert colors that match the pri/sec whereas Sparkle vanishes into obscurity (and I have seen enough Bou/Myr/Sparkle dragons already, some more options would be nice) Runes and Contour obscure Boulder's beautiful curves, as do many of the other complex terts. So we are left with Spines or Glowtail (or Basic) just to be able to enjoy the unobstructed new genes

Smirch is a tert overlay but its a smudge with smears. Ground and fissure are a cracked texture base. None of them make this even overlay of irregular, semi-amorphous underwater light. It would be new, and it would be good.
