I would love to see a gene similar to Blossom for moderns. I cannot explain to you how many dragons of mine would have that.
I think Blossom as-is could work great for modern breeds. It would be no more line-breaking than Spines or Gembond.

!! signature under construction !!
Tertiaries EXCLUSIVELY for Ancients. They were meant to be unique and not a copy of Moderns nor where they meant to be available for moderns.

I was thinking maybe something that looks like embroidered designs...something cute or traditional like hearts or butterflies, embroidered right onto the dragon.

It would look best with stitched/patchwork obviously (because very few of the terts now really look good with those two) but it could also look interesting or even gnarly with other primary/secondary genes.

Leopard Gecko!

Sorta Simple, Basically, no matter the secondary and primary genes & colors, this would lay black spots over the dragon. Then the gene color lets say, Copper, would fade on the tail stripes of the gene and around the eyes lie actually leopard geckos. (the fade would be the gene color, Ex: Copper fades)

Tert gene called "points." You know how in Glimmer it adds splashes of color to the horns and some other spots that aren't the belly? So, like that- but it's on every point where there's a "point" on the body. The nose, the horns/ears, the claws, the spikes on the wings. It's ONLY strongest at the very tips of the body, but it QUICKLY fades. So like, on the claws example from earlier, it makes the tips of the claws really saturated and full of color. But as it reaches up to the like, ankles, it's basically almost gone. Or on the nose, it only reaches the eyes, or on the horns it barely even reaches the base. Edit: I made some images. They're sloppy, but they get my point across. I'm only using a mouse lol. Patches on the flank, the base of the tail, and shoulders or neck, smaller patches on the wing-tips if necessary for design balancing [*] 2. If there's an underbelly on the dragon, the lower part where the under-tail is would be coloured, like a firefly - if not, the lack of colour could be compensated in other areas [*] 3. Highlight on the breed traits (Imperial and Pearlcatcher whiskers, Bogsneak pads, Guardian horns, Coatl... circle horn things, Tundra horns, etc) [*] 4. A gentle aura over all Tertiary coloured patches as well as any accessory frills, fur, or feathers (elbow fur, etc) [*] 5. Particles over the auras
It sounds complicated like that but it's what I did for the rough pictures above. I believe that it would look nice with current Primary and Secondary genes and not blot out any notable designs nor be too overpowering. While colour might be a little difficult (as well as figuring out how I'd highlight a Nocturne Female tail,) this would be a good idea.
I support!
