I would love to see tertiary genes that bring out other hidden colors associated with the tert. For instance, genes like mosaic/breakup, fade/blend, and poison/toxin all bring out other highlight colors when applied. Peacock is one of the few terts that currently do this, and I'd love to see more. It could be something as simple as making a faded underbelly or stripes with a gradient, or more complicated like having multicolored spots.
This is my number one request. Either associated accent colors or significantly changing the effect (to help gene g1s with odd terts) - capsule and opal do this nicely, and I'd like more options. I like the stripes with a gradient idea - maybe an updated take on contour, with a few more stripes added for more impact. Or with spots the accent could be in the form of a halo/glow, like how copper runes "glows" with blue. And I'm sure it's been requested a million times, but a modern blossom would have accent colors and be an absolute dream come true. If the artists managed the minor linebreaking of gembond and spines, I'm sure they could make blossom work beautifully, right?

I'd be interested in another tertiary gene for the dragon's belly, something in between glimmer and underbelly. Glimmer can occasionally be too much (especially in price) and underbelly sometimes appears too flat, so maybe something equivalent to a shinier underbelly without making it look too close to the style and texture glimmer has. Or perhaps instead, something more shaded, with more depth and variety of colors than the plain underbelly has. For example, something akin to this provides more than just one flat color and some shading as underbelly does. Please excuse my poor digital art skills and the fact that I didn't shade it afterward, I just wanted to show the general idea.
I love this and fully could not agree more! I love belly terts so much but Underbelly is flat and not great for breeding, but glimmer really is such a punch to the wallet. And it often seems like such a waste as few glimmer colors actually have much of an accent. I don't particularly mind but 1200g for a couple little sparkles and some texture? OOF. The only other belly gene we have is Capsule and, sometimes you want the belly covered but not the glass and liquid look that comes with capsule! Something like this is not only gorgeous but it's smooth but not extremely flat. It just looks so soft and smooth and would go so well with so many different color combos! Please staff, give me more belly genes
Also agree about having another underbelly option, and along with the above - I'd like to see something in the same style/same accent colors as fade/blend. I like the genes but I'm often staring at the solid underbelly wishing it was as interesting as the main body, so it would be nice to have a matchy way to fill that in, or maybe to make it a crazy prismatic dragon with tons of color shifts.
Please give us this! This looks so amazing and I hate the belly on lots of genes but Underbelly is worthless for breeding and isn't that appealing unless you just like that flat look, and Glimmer is well, Glimmer. It's a crazy expensive gem gene and it doesn't even look good on lots of dragons like mirrors and tundras bc of the weird effect on the horns! plus it's not even that great of a gene, if it wasn't gem gene underbelly it wouldn't be nearly as popular. Capsule WORKS sometimes I guess but it has that ugly glass look that takes away from the color and so many of the colors look so weird and different depending on the breed or even gender it's on. A soft, smudgy gene like this would work wonders without being too busy, but wouldn't be so bland and Ideally would have Uncommon or even limited rarity so the rarity isn't too low that it's impossible to breed it out but also isn't insanely expensive like a gem gene. I'm begging you guys in staff, PLEASE give us a gene that covers the underbelly that isn't super low rarity and flat or super expensive next! we need more terts and this one would be a game changer!

Just a smattering of buttons here and there on the dragon (perhaps just below/above/beside the eyes, too?), in the tert color...
I have this feeling that Buttons will end up being an Eye Type instead of a Tert. Other than that or coloured stitching though I don't know what else they could do for a Tert to go with them.
Maybe a button glasses/shades item? I like button/stitch tert as well, just not interacting with eyes.
I came here to suggest buttons but someone beat me too it XD But I would love a tert to go with stitched/patchwork :)

I am not an artist so I don't really know how to show it, but the problem I have with terts sometimes is that if you have busy primary/secondary, like Mosaic & Breakup, or Patchwork & Stitched, Petals & Butterfly, etc, many of the terts just add to much chaos into the look. If you have a busy primary/secondary, your only tert options are really just Glimmer, Underbelly, Stained, and Capsule -- Glimmer and Stained being very expensive, Underbelly sometimes looking too flat, and Capsule which is very controversial (I personally HATE it). My suggestion is something that isn't on the main body, but the hands, feet, muzzle, and tail -- I feel like I would call it "Dipped" as though those bits had been dipped in paint. Kind of like what runes can do, like on this dragon: But without the runes on the body to mess with the art of, say, Petals, and additionally on the muzzle and tip of the tail.

I want a scatter scroll that only changes the tertiary color at random! So often the ONLY thing that I don't like about my dragon is the tertiary color, and I'm not willing to roll the dice on all the colors just to change that one. It can be totally random just like the tri-color scroll but I'd love to be able to try for something better!
