Maybe something that just colors the secondary secondaries on a dragon? Like on a PC, it'd be the mane, tail, and maybe the horn and whiskers. On a Guardian, it'd be the fins and horns. On a Mirror, it'd be the head plate thing. Maybe there could be some slight gradients on the legs/tail as well so it's not just a partial coverup for the secondary.

FRT+9 (Europe time)
Open for role playing (some dragons have a recorded past, others are blank)
Online everyday (but not always long)
How about a 'filter' gene like stained, which increases the saturation of a dragon by a percentage? Could also have a desaturate version.

Could we bring the Weathered gene to the Modern dragon genepool? I honestly think Weathered is an underrated gene and it would be similar to making a gene that colors the "points" of the dragon (points=ears, legs, tail, wing-tips, nose).

A gene that covers only wing parts? That'd be neat.

Peacock mostly does this, but it does cover the shoulders and that can destroy a look depending on the primary color, or at least really mess with it.

Just really simple, boring points on the face, legs and tail. Nothing more! No color gradients, no stripes, no weird patterns. Just a nice gradient of one color fading from the face and legs into the body, like a cat with points or a buckskin horse

I second @Miragaia, and i've noticed quite a bit of people wishing for a point tert on FR communities on tumblr and twitter as well! A simple point colourization is something I am saving certain xxy dragons for <3 A bigger facial mask than most, say, point cats would have would also rid of the issue regarding different dragon species and the separation of ears and face.
