100% support!
I usually coli to level dragons up to level 10 due to the need to just have all my dragons at that level, and honestly having bounties put in place by the site itself would be a lot more helpful rather than having just in mind goals to reach before I can quit (and due to having Adhd it's rather hard to quit when I do manage to get focused on something...) So having bounties put in place that can be used as stopping points for levelers in order to take a break or something in the matter after they achieve the bounty would be rather helpful!

Fully support this! I breed my own fodder so when I don't have a batch ready to exalt, it can take some convincing to get me into the coliseum. This would be such an excellent way to help encourage people like me to be motivated to get into the coliseum, and it shouldn't hurt the economy since you've put a lot of thought into balancing the rewards so they really just make up for being unable to consistently grind in more profitable venues. I'd really appreciate this and I love the idea of tying it into Gaoler lore.
I can also see this being a great way to introduce newbies to the coli! Maybe when you're just starting out and don't have any dragons leveled past level 1 yet, some of the tasks can be things like "level a dragon to level 5" or "assign stat points to one dragon" and so on? I can totally see this doubling as a sort of tutorial for how to use the coli.

full support! i enjoy coli a lot already but i think this would make it much more appealing to new players, you're absolutely right about specific goals being something it's currently lacking. the lore ties in well too and i like the idea of a gaoler npc!

I think this is a good fun idea. Is Coli focused on a lot already? Yes. Do I like Coli? No. But seeing as how the site is starting to break away from events being so Coli-focused (and I really hope they continue on that track!) this doesn’t feel as redundant as it would have a year ago. Even me, who does not like Coli grinding whatsoever, would get back into it if this was implemented.

I really love this idea, it'd bring a new sense of purpose to those who already collected everything they want from the Coliseum for example. Like, I'd like to have a reason to grind for something new and exciting in a specific venue rather than fighting aimlessly hoping for a good general drop without really feeling like fighting at all due to no goal.

i really like this in concept - in execution, i'm curious how the site would be able to track the number of battles or specific monsters being fought (if that's something the coliseum as it exists now can easily support).[/quote]
They could always add new drop that's guaranteed after every fight and can only be used for the new NPC. "Trade in 48 Infestation Hound Trinkets for a reward" or something like that, using the OP as an example. I think trading in your loot would make more sense lorewise, but maybe that's just my personal preference.

I love this so so much humongous support I would give so much for this to be a real site feature!

this would be great ! especially cus it would allow us to have a motivation to grind in the smaller level venues, which you don't do much of at the time.
I think you could go more weird and unique with the challenges too, like "defeat 1 monster from every single venue"(maybe could justify this lore wise as trying to find where the shade is hiding or something) "defeat a boss enemy using only scratch" "defeat any 5 ice enemies"
stuff like that, i feel like it doesn't have to be limited to just enemy species :^) but that's just a suggestion
