Seriously, why are people still able to exalt unnamed dragons? It seems to annoy literally everyone I know that plays. You can't put an unnamed dragon in your coli team so you shouldn't be able to exalt unnamed hatchlings either.
And don't tell me to name dragons I list for fodder prices, this time it was well over the current fodder price.
I UNDERSTAND I HAVE MADE A POOR SUGGESTION BECAUSE I WAS UPSET ABOUT A PROBLEM
But this is still clearly an issue because of how often it seems to get brought up? I do think some way for people to tailor their hatchlings list would be for the best, both for unnameds and for people that get unpleasant or unwanted names.

My dragon, my choices. If you wanted your dragons named, name them yourself before they leave your lair, fodder price or not. It only annoys people who expect other people to take responsibility for something they could have done themselves.
Should dragons be named to be bred? To have apparel or a familiar?
Edit because y'all like to quote me indirectly with some kind of "gotcha"; no, I don't like the fact that we have to name dragons to train them. Yes, I support the removal of that limitation.
Take some responsibility for your own choices instead of holding other people accountable for something you should have done yourself.

No support. If people don't want to name a dragon, they shouldn't be forced to.

Why not just name all the dragons you sell though? If it's "well above" fodder price then a renaming scroll is practically pennies for someone intending to keep it...

See but the problem is if a dragon is exalted it can NEVER be named and you get dragons full of unnamed hatchlings, especially if you're like me and don't always pay 100% attention to when dom pushes are happening and underprice by accident. You can't train unnamed dragons for exalting already so...

Name your dragons before selling them, then.
Renaming scrolls are very cheap, especially since they can drop in the Coliseum (I have so many just from farming in Vents and Kelp Beds). If the buyer doesn't like the name, they can change it. Either way, you won't have Unnameds on your offspring list.

I understand how you feel, I don't like to watch my dragons' offspring list and see Unnamed dragons in it. Some have suggested that the Lineage box should have the option to make it hidden. I feel that is currently the best middle ground suggestion to solve the problem.
I don't think that preventing people from exalting Unnamed dragons is the best solution, partly because of dominance fights. Preventing Unnameds to be exalted would make mass exalting during dominance fights more stressful and tedious than it already is. It may just take a few seconds to name a dragon, but when you're exalting 1000 dragons in a week, those few seconds can add up to hours...

Name your dragons while you own them, don’t try and control other peoples playstyles. No support, do a forum search. It would save you a lot of time.

It takes seconds to name an unnamed dragon (FOR FREE). And there's a random suggestion button so you don't even have to think up a name. So it's not like it would be a hardship on anyone and it would stop the blight of dragons being listed as "unnamed" forever in the children list.

[/quote]That logic goes both ways. If it’s really SO EASY to name a dragon, why not name them when you hatch them? Why not name them before you sell them? Why try and control what other people do with their dragons when the solution already exists?
