This seems petty but hear me out. There are many names banned for many reasons, some obvious, some not so much. But even names that try to "cheat" the name are banned like "Cher" being banned due to "Chernobyl" being banned.
With all that said, "unnammed" is ONLY used for spite/harassment to people who DONT like unnamed dragons. Like me. Since its ONLY used for that and is trying to cheat the system. It needs to be banned. The staff has said many times that "spite naming" is harassment yet still allow this name. Like there is a reason that there is no "scroll of unnaming" and never will be.
Unnamed is fine but spite naming isn't. Please staff ban this name. I've have had to report it many times. Wouldn't it be easier to just ban?

Do you not consider the possibility that users want unnamed dragons, but they were purchased already-named, and that this is their workaround?

I mean, Nameless is right there and it looks better. I’m with OP on this one, “Unnammed” is a useless addition to the naming roster

I am not in favor of banning certain names if there's no obvious impartial reason why. If someone claims they are "only ever" used to harass, in a lot of cases that's more than debatable.
I'd prefer if it were possible to train unnamed dragons in the coliseum - that would solve both this debatable name issue, and would also allow many players who now have to choose between having a named dragon and having a leveled dragon to have both.

My issue with this, is that this could start a cascade of 'Unnarned' or 'Unamed' or other variations of 'Unnamed' that players have been told to use in place of 'Unnamed' for various reasons.
I can understand that it can be used for harassment, but so can those others.
I personally wouldn't notice if they banned it, unless they made a post about it being banned (as it would drive me up the wall), but feel this might quickly become a wave of 'ban every potential word that can be mistaken for unnamed because it can be used for harassment'
Edit: One reason I am hesitant over this, is because right now players will use 'Unnammed' to harass. That gets banned, they will move on to another similar name, and the cycle will begin again. Thus making it so players who want unnamed dragons but can't keep them that way (want t otrain them or bought them named already etc..) will have fewer and fewer 'look alike' words to use.

If the spelling of this name is being used for the sole purpose of harassing you then that person(s) need to be reported. Harassment is not, and never has been, acceptable here.
No support for banning this misspelling.
As pointed out there are people, including me, who want to have a dragon named "Unnamed". As more people have said, people use the incorrect spellings to skirt around the issue of the dragons being available for the coli, and other reasons.
In the case of my dragon I haven't named him, because he doesn't have a name. He is unnamed. I think it's much prettier of a word than other synonyms. I would love to name him that, but it won't let me, so I've just left it, but I would like to get rid of the edit name button on him so I could use him in the coli.
Edited my post slightly to clarify my intent.

I mean, I could argue that there are a lot of 'useless' additions to the naming roster.
Unnammed would drive me up the wall, because I dislike deliberate mispellings (or accidentaly transpositions).
But, so would asdf or asdgh or CaThErInE, or many other naming conventions that people use.
However, if people want to use any of those for the dragons they own, whether bought or bred, that is up to them.
If they are using it to harass a person, then the harasser should be punished, not innocent people who might want to use those 'names' for their own dragons because they like them, or think them funny or whatever.

If it's being used for the sole purpose of harassment, sure. If someone is harassing you by doing this then report that person.
Since the name you're suggesting to be banned has two "m"s in it, I'm leaning toward that it's probably used for harassment, since exalting an unnamed dragon as is requires really no effort to do so.

I think the issue is that they 'renamed' the dragon that then exalted it, not that the dragon was unnamed before they got it.
Which I agree it was harassment, I just don't think starting a wave of banning names players come up to use as harassment, unless that name has no other purpose than harassment, is a good idea.
In this case, when the 'train unnamed dragons' comes up, players have been told to use synonyms, which as you pointed out dont' always appeal, and for some, they don't always have the same connotations. They have also been told to use mispellings of 'Unnamed' to create a similiar 'look' and I believe 'unnammed' has been one of the ones that have been mentioned, as well as 'unnarned' and 'unamed' so there very well could be people out there using it innocently, because they wanted an unnamed dragon but for whatever reason could use the default name.

Other people have stated reasons why someone might want a dragon named that, so I won't beat that dead horse.
I do want to say though, that if you have proof someone is harassing you, you should report it.

Help I'm trapped in a signature!
I have previously met a person who wanted to rename their dragon as 'unnamed' for lore purposes, and had to settle on 'unnammed' because the dragon came pre-named. While I understand that you may experience specific harassment through this, your complaint is akin to someone harassing someone else by renaming all of their dragons 'icecream', knowing it's a name they specifically dislike. That player should be punished, but asking for the name 'icecream' to be banned due to your specific dislike of it is, in my personal opinion, unreasonable. Names like chernobyl are valid in being banned because they can be used to reference traumatic experiences in peoples' lives/glorify bad things in general. (My mother was in Poland at the time so that one specifically hits close to home and I would be angry to see someone making light of it by naming a dragon that.)
I don't know the specific reason you may be receiving harassment in this form, and I don't intend this to sound victim-blamey, but my advice is to not advertise anywhere that you may have any adversion to unnamed dragons. Name your dragons before they leave your lair, do not indicate that you would like to see them named. There are some unpleasant people out there who target people specifically because of this dislike. Do not give them reason to think that you are a potential target.
Additionally, always be sure to report any player who you feel harassed by, supplying links (always better than screenshots as they won't be dismissed as forged) to any comments/posts/pms/dragons in question.
Apologies if this comes off blunt/cold/impassive. I do not mean for this to offend/be taken rudely in any manner.
