When you've clicked a dragon to nest, I'd like if if the drop-down list would search dragons in the same tab as the first dragon FIRST, then list dragons from the other tabs.
Here's my default Lair tab set-up:
As you can see, when I choose to breed Valkyrie (blue spiral, lower left corner) from the Fodder Breeders tab I get this selection for her mates.
The orange arrow is her mate Flambebe, the crackle tun next to her in her tab picture. Note that the mate selection is not scrolled down or up at all.
Now, if I move my tabs around, and put Fodder Breeders as the first tab.
This is Valkyrie's mate selection list after the tab move
Again, I haven't scrolled up or down on the slider at all, it's right at the top.
Then I moved the Fodder Breeder's tab a third time, and put it at the very end of my lair tab order.
And this is where the mate selection happens, I have to scroll down to the bottom to find Flambebe again.
The Nesting Grounds mate selection follows lair tab order by default.
What I'd LIKE it to do is select the same tab as chosen dragon first then follow lair tab order. I'm reasonably sure most people keep their dragons and their mates together in the same tab, so if we can't have some system to auto-place the dragon they've most recently bred with first in their mate selection list.
Then a reasonable second option would be for the mate selection to chose the tab the dragon is in for mates first.
