This would be really lovely, and it seems strange that it's not supported by default?
A while ago I wanted to ask a user, whose profile was in Korean, about a dragon they had listed as 'for sale', but wasn't currently on the auction house. So I sent them a private message, which I had translated into Korean (hopefully well, via google).
Once I hit 'send' I checked the message in my outbox, and it was all gibberish!!! I was so embarrassed I immediately had to send them another message explaining the situation, in English, and the whole thing just went horribly.
I had thought it would work no problem, as I'd gone through similar steps to post a comment on another user's profile in Korean, and that worked fine!!!
Why isn't this supported in PMs, how is that text-input different than any other kind of text input on the site!! Ahhh!!!!!

Support, any language should show up as its intended and not turn into question marks for no reason as you can use it everywhere else.
That the forums stay english only is a no brainer, it gives even grounds for everyone to communicate, but in PMs? Use whatever you like!
Also if something insulting is said, there are more than enough people on the site who could be nice enough to translate and dont forget the wide wild land of the internet is at your hands as well to find translations.
Dont think it will be much trouble tbh

@propaganda while i support, i think for not important conversations, you can work around this for the time being by using privnote, and then pm the link to the person! it's a workaround, but it's nice to use rather than writing profile comments or asking for discords etc etc. hopefully you find some use in it!

Skin names also don't support characters from other alphabets, as I just found out! Tried to look up tsu (?) in the game database for skins and I got an error page. (Probably it isn't supported in the whole database but skins would be the only page where you could find an item with that character anyway).

oh look, it turned the character into a question mark. So apparently it's not supported on the forums either. It's the character from my broadcast message. - but you need to go to my profile to see it. Hovering over my profile in the forums turns the "tsu" character into "ãf,,"

The fact that it's supported in some places but not other places is what I find odd about this...
