I think a parrot or caterpillar type thing would be really cool

A basset hound-inspired familiar would be amazing.

There are sea stars as food items and such; but I don’t think there’s a starfish familiar item yet. So if there isn’t… please, add one. I know the sea star/seahorse guys got added to the Kelp Beds somewhat recently but I want a true sea star familiar. I think sea urchins would also be awesome. Edit: this person gets me! My idea is for a starfish with a giant eye in its center, because… well I like eye-themed designs. That would also fit in with the forbidden portal. But generally there are a lot of ways a starfish (/starfish relative) design could go that would fit in with the rest of the game! (Since usually, there’s at least a little something to distinguish our familiars from real animals) [LIST] [*]Crinoid (‘sea lily’) that can be dug up from an Arlo plot, because crinoids are common fossils. Could do something with their name of ‘sea lily’ as well, possibly combine them a bit with an actual flower? [*]Feather star, possibly fused with a bird to give it lots of feathers so it looks even more like a biblically accurate angel. [*]Starfish who is all sparkly and space themed [*]‘Starfish’ robot for the construct workshop [*]Starfish/octopus fusion [*]Crinoid/sundew fusion. Crinoids are filter feeders who catch things with their feathery arms, and sundews have sticky tendrils that they use to catch bugs. They seem like they’d make a neat fusion design. [*]Starfish + UFO fusion. A starfish that comes from the stars! Just take the disc shape of a classic UFO and make it a star instead. That round capsule that is usually drawn in the middle of the UFO can stay ofc. Maybe in the art it can be ‘abducting’ some little leaf sheep or something like how UFOs supposedly abduct cows?? Lol [/LIST] Also, I think a starfish apparel item would be absolutely adorable. Just a cute lil starfish that clings onto your dragon! Possibly also a jar full of baby starfishes, though that might kind of just look like a recolor of the star candy jar we already have. I was about to start suggesting a starfish gene of some sort but… this isn’t the right suggestion thread for that, is it. In conclusion, I think there’s enough things you could do with a starfish theme that staff could fill an entire small update with starfish. (@Fishes I added onto your suggestion, and I figure maybe you’d be interested in seeing some of the ways I think this could be implemented & maybe adding onto it!)

A recolor of the Pocketmice that is part jellyfish. Specifically because Aequorin is produced by jellyfish.
(I’m imagining basically a mouse with the Jellyfish gene.)
