I would love it if a future festival familiar cycle would feature non-animal familiars again! Such as something inspired by Beastclan or unofficial clans like dryads.
Dryads, or something inspired by them, could be based on the Flight's land in an unique way. Like land itself manifested in a humanoidish form. Another suggestion is elemental pixies, and they could be given some kind of a job; unique to the flight, assassin, helper etc.

The Sand Boa with his goofy on top of his head eyes.
The rhino snake. Very Ridgeback-like. Long snoot.

This is gonna sound wild, but hear me out.
So, you know how there's the joke about the Sparkling Stinger being the "poor dragon's Boolean"?

Do you think we could ever get "alternate" versions of the Kickstarter familiars, or the Akirbeak? Not recolours*, but entirely different familiars that match the same general theme and colour palette. For example, maybe a different looking cat with wings, or a new pale bony critter. Close enough that if someone only liked the familiar for its aesthetic, the "poor dragon's" version would be suitable, but wouldn't spoil the scarcity of the originals, since that's a big concern for a lot of people.
*As much as I would love that, I think that's a bit [i]too[/i] unfair for the Kickstarter backers who put money into this game not knowing it'd succeed. I do think giving the Akirbeak a recolour would only be fitting, since every other retired familiar/apparel has gotten a recolour at this point, but the Akirbeak's gone so long without one that it'd probably be really controversial at this point. Still, I'm really glad that offering recolours of rare familiars/apparel has become a staple of this site!

You could try like a mimic dragon of each species, like how we have ancient species you could do Ancient Earthen something, or for the breeds that aren't ancient it could just be Earthen something.
