TOPIC | Locking Lair Positions on full pages
Hey I was just hoping to suggest some kind of locking feature for the lair spaces. I don't know what has been suggested in the past but I thought I would give it a try.

Whenever I buy exalt fodder dragons, they always mess up my lair order of my permanent hoard of dragons which is around 60. My lair can hold around 80. For awhile, I just stopped caring about it because it would take me about 25 minutes each time my lair was messed up. I had hoped that something would be done, but..... sigh. :(

All I would like to see is if while arranging the lairs that there be some kind of locking mechanism. What it would do is it would be just a button to click so that once you were happy on a lair page's arrangement, click the lock. By clicking the lock, dragons on full pages would stay in their position, and any incoming dragon would be sent to the open lair pages with spare spaces.

This so much. I'm getting so sick of having to re-order my dragons simply because a set of hatchlings or a purchase has scrambled them up.

And in relative terms I have a small number of dragons. I'd hate to have more and deal with this constantly.

The lair scramble is actually a known bug, they are not supposed to rearrange every time you add a dragon or sell a dragon.

New dragons are supposed to go to the last space in your lair, and everyone else stay put.

That being said, I don't know if a lair lock would really be necessary. Dragons would already be locked in place until you rearranged them manually.

@clockworkMoose

I had noticed some kind of auto correcting that the lair arrangements would do while I would try to rearrange my lair. Like for instance in my lair the first page is reds and blues, and when I would have incoming dragons they would go to the first page, well while I'm trying to fix the arrangement, it would kinda fix its self somehow and my reds and blue was move one by one automatically back to page 1, but it only did it while I would shift pages when arranging.

I just hope for some kind of fix in it because its honestly starting to push me away from the site. :C

It's on the tracked bugs list, although I can't tell you where on the list of priorities, and the admins have stated they will not be giving timelines on when things will be rolled out at all, so I doubt they'd tell us either.

However, people who get frustrated with the dragons rearranging either just don't worry about order right now, or, take screenshots of your dragons as they should be so you can post that to your profile or elsewhere when showing people your dragons, as well as mark down breeding pairs or project dragons that way.

Sorry it's bothering you so much, it's bothering a lot of us too! There have been several bug reports over dancing dragons, a few suggestions to keep dragons in place, and even a thread or two in the general discussion asking if people were so fed up moving dragons around they had just quit trying.
So you're not alone in your pain. :C
