[i]They say that there are strange dolls in the woods, whether abandoned figures that took on lives of their own for revenge, travelling spirits who thought they'd make a good body, or even just ordinary dolls who gained lives purely to continue their jobs of keeping others company and occasionally acting as mannequins or art references. Many Shadow lairs end up welcoming them wholeheartedly - after all, what would be more Shadow-ish than a living object that mimics a real dragon? Also, it seems like this one grew some real feathers. Huh.
